Whatever Karan Johar does, he does it with style and elan. After having played the typical ‘yes-yes, no-no’ game for some time now, KJo (as he is popularly called) has finally spoken about his much awaited next film, which he will be directing after Student Of The Year.
The film is titled Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and will star Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Speaking about the reason for casting Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar said that he not only got to know them really well, but also witnessed the chemistry between them during the shoot of Bombay Velvet. As for Aishwarya (with whom he is working for the first time), Karan confessed that they both have missed working with each other on several ooccasions in the past. But Ae Dil Hai Mushkil fulfilled his dream of working with her.
When asked about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, without revealing too much about the film, all that Karan Johar said was that even though love is the theme of the film, it’s not a typically conventional love story or love triangle. Rather, it’s a film that deals deeply with relationships, heartbreaks and also how love completes an individual.
The music of the film will be composed by Pritam and the film is slated to be released on June 3, 2016. As far as the locations are concerned, the film will be shot in New York, London, Paris and parts of Delhi.
