“Honestly, I am more of a tomboy. I don’t really have many womanly traits. But I guess the best thing about being a woman is that you get to emotionally blackmail men!,” says Udita Goswami, the actress who essayed the role of Nupur Chauhan in the 2010 film Chase.
“Jokes apart, I believe women are admirable the way they manage families, extended families, kids, and flourishing careers. They are the best jugglers I bet. From a distance, a woman’s image may be of one who has to be taken care of, be provided and protected. But give a closer look. While we may be fiercely independent, we are considerate and compassionate. Women take the world along.
“Though I am very independent, all my major plans in life revolve around my family, something I learnt from my mom. Their high emotional sense has always contributed well to the society. For me, the true spirit of a woman lies in her being just herself.”
