Personalized Gifts Now Just A Click Away
New Delhi: If you often get confused about getting a suitable gift for a loved one, here’s one website that can shoo away your woes. Giveter.com, a one-stop shop for gifting solutions, has a new feature that fetches the best options for your friend or relative using their Facebook profile.
The special addition by Giveter is called ‘N-Lighter’.
Using popular social networking website Facebook, Giveter, with prior permission from the user, analyses the profile of the person to whom the gift needs to be given to. Giveter then scans the concerned person’s likes and traits to judge and present ideal gifting options.
Explaining the concept further, Mayank Bhangadia, one of Giveter’s founders, told us: “If someone is gifting her brother, who has shown interest for calligraphy on Facebook, she may be recommended a calligraphy gift set or a book from Flipkart on this subject to improve his calligraphy skills.”
Giveter was established in 2012 by Bhangadia and Avinash Saxena, both alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Their common vision to make gifting thoughtful and full of fun led to the launch of Giveter.com, which has since its inception, grown strength by strength.
Presently, the website has tie-ups with over 50 brands and portals like Flipkart, Lenskart, Ferns N Petals, Caratlane, Happily Unmarried and Zansaar, providing its patrons thousands of gifting items.
Saxena said: “We started Giveter to solve a big problem that we often faced ourselves, ‘What is the best gift for a particular person?’. People really want to be thoughtful in finding the perfect gifts for their loved ones and we wanted to be their companion in this process.”
They have a team of ‘gift gurus’, who keep track of unique products across the Indian e-commerce portals and handpick interesting options.
