Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Tuesday reacted sharply after a soldier was killed when Pakistani troops fired at Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. “Even India should violate the ceasefire norms with Pakistan and there should be no talks,” he said.
“We have always been against any relations with Pakistan. We should get into Pakistan to teach them a lesson,” he said.
“There should be no talks. If Pakistan kills our one soldier we should kill 10 of theirs…only language Pakistan understands,” the Shiv Sena leader said.
Meanwhile, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley told Parliament that the army had been giving “befitting reply” to ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
“India will keep retaliating to such violations,” he told the Rajya Sabha.
“India won’t and will never bow down,” he said.
