The Malaysia Airlines Kuala Lumpur-Bangalore Flight MH192 that made an emergency turnback on Sunday night landed back safely at Kuala Lumpur airport.
Earlier, the airline said that its Flight MH192 on the way to Bangalore from Kuala Lumpur with 166 people on board would shortly attempt an emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur after its landing gear malfunctioned on take-off.
The airline confirmed the flight departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 10.09pm bound for Bangalore has made a midair turnback towards Kuala Lumpur. It further said the aircraft’s right-hand landing gear malfunctioned upon take-off and was expected to make an emergency landing at KLIA at around 2am, Malaysia time.
Malaysian Airlines tweeted from its official account that the flight landed back safely.
