26/11 Mastermind Tops Most Wanted ListIndia on Wednesday once again reminded Pakistan it has become a haven for terrorists, organised crime dons and fake Indian currency pushers by releasing a list of 50 most-wanted fugitives. The persons in the list have been sheltered by Pakistan’s spy agency ISI.

The names of the Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed and his top men Sajid Mir, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Azam Cheema, Rashid Abdullah and Abu Hamza and some 20 members of Dawood Ibrahim gang, including the don, form the list.

For the first time, India has listed two serving ISI officers —Major Iqbal and Major Sameer Ali. Both handled David Coleman Headley and were active in the 26/11 conspiracy.

Rumored to be number three in the hierarchy of al Qaeda, Ilyas Kashmiri is also in the rouges gallery. Kashmiri is now considered to be operational head of al Qaeda in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Handler of Karachi project, wherein the ISI uses Indians for terrorist activities in India, former Pakistan army major Syed Abdul Rehman is mentioned at number three in the list. Pasha was responsible for creating Indian Muzahideen, which is accused of most of serial blasts in major Indian cities between 2005 and 2008. Pasha’s trusted aide and criminal-turned jehadi Amir Raza Khan is also wanted by India.

Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Maulana Masood Azhar and the five men who hijacked IC-814 to secure his release are also named. Hizbul Muzahideen chief Mohammad Yusuf Shah, JKLF head Amanullah Khan, fake Indian currency pusher Aftab Bhatki are some prominent names listed by India.
